 | My first mash-up of 2010 (...and in A WHILE!). Sorry about that... I've been quite busy over the past many months. This is a mash-up of "Bad Romance" by American pop singer Lady Gaga and "Dream Fighter" by Japanese technopop trio Perfume. I think just about everybody knows who Lady Gaga is these days. But in case you've been living under a rock, Gaga first blew up the American music scene back in 2008 when she released "Just Dance," the first of four singles on her debut album "The Fame" that each charted at number one worldwide. "Bad Romance" is the first single of her second smaller album "The Fame Monster," which was released last fall. She will be releasing a new music video for the album's third single "Alejandro" in the coming months. I sure do love me some Gaga. For more info on Gaga, please check out: en.wikipedia.org Perfume's three members are Ayaka "A~chan" Nishiwaki, Yuka "Kashiyuka" Kashino, and Ayano "Nocchi" Ōmoto. Perfume's first major success was with the hit single "Polyrhythm" from their album "Game," which became only the second technopop album in history to debut at number one. The girls are (in my opinion, at least) rather well-known for their unique style of synchronized dancing. "Dream Fighter" is the second single from their sophomore album "Triangle." The group recently released a new single in April 2010 called "Fushizen na Girl/Natural ni Koishite."
